Shrimp Industry Issues and Options - Public Meeting Schedule

The National Marine Fisheries Service will be holding a series of industry/public briefings, and will be seeking comment on the draft paper. The media is invited to attend any of the industry/public briefings. A schedule of the meetings is listed below:

Dr. William T. Hogarth, director of NOAA Fisheries, will give a brief overview of the document. Dr. John Ward, a NOAA Fisheries economist, will then lead a presentation of the elements of the paper by many of the paper's independent authors. Discussions of the options will be held and comments taken for the balance of the meeting.
